How to Be a Happy/Healthy College Student

Wellness Week October 19-24, 2008

A Co-Curricular Choice for AU Students and a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Olive Garden! 

Berrien Springs, MI. -- Please join the Andrews University students in finding out “How To Be A Happy Healthy College Student!” The week will fire off with the Wellness Fair in the Campus Center Lobby 11a-2p on Monday, October 20, 2008.

In being a Healthy/Happy College Student, students will realize that being physically fit is just a small portion of the whole picture. The Wellness Fair will feature booths from Apple Valley, True Color Hair Studio, Mary Kay Makeup, Caitlin’s Catering, and Campus Ministries.  While also featuring other demonstrations regarding sobriety by Counseling & Testing’s own Dr. Burnett, massages by Lamson Health Club, Mental Health Screenings by the Counseling & Testing Center, Hearing Screenings by the AU Speech Pathology Department, Vital Screenings by the Andrews University Nursing Department, Financial Services provided by AU Financial Department, Village Green in helping AU Go Green!, and also a special booth by Lakeland Hospital’s Nutrition Department.  All undergrad and graduate schools as well as the community are invited to attend!

            Assembly/Co-Curricular choices on Tuesday will also reflect mental and physical wellness.  Counselors from Counseling & Testing will also be presenting dorm worship opportunities in Lamson Hall.
