Seminary Scholarship Symposium

The Fifth Annual Seminary Scholarship Symposium highlights research completed by Seminary faculty and students. The Symposium begins on Thursday with a sermon by George R. Knight, professor emeritus of church history from 10:30-11:20 am in the Seminary Chapel. The annual seminary book sale occurs from  9 am-3 pm in the Seminary Commons, and a poster session will take place from 7-8 pm in the Seminary Commons. Knight will conclude Thursday’s activities with a plenary lecture, "The Seventh-day Adventist History and the Search for a Usable Past: One Man’s Journey" at 8 pm in the Seminary Chapel.

 

On Friday, breakout sessions will occur from 9-10:30 am in various classrooms, a poster conference and reception from 10:30-11:30 am in the Seminary Commons, and finally another group of breakout sessions from 11:30 am -1 pm in Seminary Classrooms.
