Accreditation Visit
The Higher Learning Commission evaluates Andrews University for accreditation.
Mon, March 23, 2009 @ 09:00 am - Wed, March 25 @ - 05:00 pm
The Higher Learning Committee (HLC) will visit the Andrews University campus for an evaluation. Usually, no fewer than four members serve on a team for an evaluation visit, because a team must be large enough to execute a thorough assessment. In addition, members serving on the team must have similar institutional background experience—this includes private, liberal arts, doctorate granting, or denominationally affiliated schools.
To prepare for this evaluation, a Self-Study has been distributed across the campus. Vice-presidents, deans, and selected directors and members of the Self-Study Steering Committee have received copies. Two additional copies are held on reserve at the James White Library, and D2L access is also available. Faculty are encouraged to review the document in preparation for the visit. If you need access to the D2L site, please contact Alice Williams at alicew@andrews.edu or (269) 471-3373 or Linda Closser at closser@andrews.edu or (269) 471-3308.
