Don Teague and Rafraf Barrak, both from NBC, will tell the story of how a young Muslim woman from Iraq found political asylum in the U.S. and allowed herself to be captured by Christ.

Rafraf Barrak was born and raised in the city of Baghdad, Iraq.  Despite the circumstances of growing up during Saddam's regime, Rafraf started working as a translator for NBC News in the Baghdad Bureau. She worked on many stories along with her foreign coworkers which ultimately put her in the front line during the aftermath of the war. Through her work with NBC she met with correspondent Don Teague who helped to get her a scholarship at the University of South Florida. She spent 2 years in the U.S. before she was granted political Asylum, since insurgents had targeted her and threatened her family after she left Iraq. It was deemed too dangerous to return to her home country. In September 2008, Rafraf accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, putting everything including family on the line.

Students will receive co-curricular credit.
