Last year Andrews Academy began a new school tradition: a baptism here in our chapel.  Since many students view the academy as an important spiritual influence in their lives—a place where the met Christ or were encouraged by friends and teachers to give their lives to Him—we want to give them the opportunity to take that life-changing step of faith right here in the center of the school.  The baptism takes place on "Beach Church" Sabbath, which is this coming Sabbath, May 16, at 5 p.m.  All are invited to welcome these new followers of Christ into the Adventist community, so please come!  Bring your church family, especially if your son or daughter will be one of the candidates.  A simple celebration including fruit and bread and cake will be provided afterwards, thanks to the PPI (Parents for Positive Involvement).  We hope you will join us!
