The Association of Seventh-day Adventist Librarians (ASDAL) will be holding their 29th Annual ASDAL Conference, “Partnering through Mentorship, Leadership and Research,” on the Andrews University campus from Sabbath, June 20-Thursday, June 25, 2009. The keynote speaker Larry Hardesty, is the founding director of the Library Directors' Mentor Program and a retired college librarian. Hardesty served as the president of ACRL (1999-2000) and chair of the ACRL National Conference (2003). He is also a recipient of the Academic/Research Librarian of the Year award (2002).
