The Andrews University Sinfonietta's fall concert will include works by Johannes Brahms, Max Bruch and Aldemaro Romero. Carla Trynchuk, a member of the Andrews University Department of Music faculty, will be featured as a soloist in Max Bruch's Scottish Fantasy, one of the most beautiful and demanding works of the solo repertory for the violin. The piece by Romero, a 20th-century Venezuelan composer, is elaborated with folkloric elements of Venezuelan music within a classical form, the fugue.
