H1N1 Flu Vaccine Scheduled
Free of charge to eligible individuals

The Berrien County Health Department will be holding an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on the campus of Andrews University. Vaccines offered on a walk-in basis and are free of charge. Those eligible to receive the H1N1 vaccine are:
⢠Pregnant women
⢠Children and young adults aged 6 months through 24 years
⢠Individuals who live with or care for infants under 6 months
⢠Health-care workers with direct patient contact
⢠Adults 25-64 years of age with underlying medical conditions
Everyone receiving the vaccine must sign a consent form. Those under 18 must have a parent sign for them. Consent forms are scheduled to be available online at www.bchdmi.org prior to the clinic. Both the nasal and shot forms of the vaccine are available; however, the nasal spray is limited to healthy individuals ages 2 to 49 years. The shot is available to everyone.
