Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary
The Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary invites you to the sixth annual Seminary Scholarship Symposium on Feb. 4-5, 2010. At 10:30-11:20 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, the Symposium will begin with a special worship service in the Seminary Chapel, featuring Dr. Jon Dybdahl, Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies at Walla Walla University. On the same day, The Andrews University Press Annual Seminary Book Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Seminary Commons. At 7:00 in the evening, there will be a poster session in the Seminary Commons, during which light refreshments will be served. Then at 8:00 p.m., Dr. Jon Dybdahl will deliver the plenary lecture entitled: "Call for an Adventist Reassessment of the Charismatic Movement."Â
On Friday morning, from 8:30-12:30, the Symposium will present breakout sessions that feature exciting research done by the Seminary faculty and students.Â
