   Agenda
   Tue, March 9, 2010 @ 04:00 pm - 07:00 pm
    Howard Performing Arts Center
On Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 4 until 7 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center (HPAC), Andrews University will feature the second annual research celebration that will be titled: Celebrating Research and Creative Scholarship: Getting Started . . . . Keeping Going.  From 4 to 6 p.m., research across all schools/departments will be featured as individual poster, video/powerpoint or table top presentations in the HPAC lobby.  It will include faculty, student/faculty and faculty/faculty research/creative scholarship and will involve a number of student honors projects.  A complimentary, light buffet, courtesy of the provost's office, will delight all comers.

From 6 to 7 p.m. in the HPAC auditorium, new faculty that have successfully started their research and faculty who have "kept it going" will be featured.  The session will be opened by the president and emceed by the provost.  Presentations will highlight: successful departmental approaches that encouraged scholarly productivity; finding resources to support the research; research collaboration with Notre Dame University; faculty who have successfully involved many students as research colleagues and coauthors; and other successful approaches.

You will not want to miss this exposition that documents the growing scholarly productivity of the A.U. faculty and students!
