Under the direction Stephen Zork, Welcome Christmas presents the University Singers in a choral narrative of the Old Testament prophetic references to the coming Messiah, and continuing with the New Testament celebration of Christ’s ministry on earth.

Featured choral works include Willy Richter's Creation, Psalm 23 by Z. Randall Stroope, Universal Song by Daniel Hall, Sanctus by Maurice Durufle and Laudate Dominum by Paul Halley. Additional choral arrangements of familiar carols will include Angels We have Heard on High by Mack Wilberg, Sweet Little Jesus Boy by Larry Nickel, Angels from the Realms of Glory by Malcolm Archer, Magnificat by Z. Randall Stroope and Venite Adoremus by Dan Forrest.

Welcome Christmas will convene the musical expressions of the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra and the University Chorale in a performance of A Christmas Garland by Conrad Susa. In conclusion, the choral and orchestral forces will perform When You Come by Nicholas Zork to celebrate the final and climactic triumph of Christ at His second coming.
