with Terry Swenson, "Will the Real Church Please Stand Up!"

Terry Swenson, DMin, serves as campus chaplain and an associate professor of the School of Religion for Loma Linda University. Working with young people and building connections between races and cultures have been a constant focus throughout his twenty-five years in pastoral ministry in northern, central and, now, southeastern California. The opportunity to focus his ministry on students at a university level attracted him to his current position twelve years ago.
 
Pastor Swenson received his DMin degree from George Fox University, Oregon with an emphasis in the areas of postmodernism, cross-cultural and global interactions and leadership.
 
He has been married to the former Marion Sanker for the past thirty years. They are the proud parents of four children, Jasmine, Mia, Crystal and Jared.
