Seminary Scholarship Symposium

Featuring Sigve Tonstads

The Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary invites you to the seventh annual Seminary Scholarship Symposium on Feb. 3-4, 2011. At 10:30-11:20 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, the Symposium will begin with a special worship service in the Seminary Chapel, featuring Dr. Sigve Tonstad, Assistant Professor of Religion at Loma Linda University.  On the same day, the Andrews University Press Annual Seminary Book Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Seminary Commons.  At 7 in the evening, there will be a poster session in the Seminary Commons, during which light refreshments will be served.  Then at 8 p.m., Dr. Sigve Tonstad will deliver the plenary lecture entitled: "The Cosmic Conflict in Revelation."

On Friday morning, February 4, from 8:30-12:30, the Symposium will present breakout sessions that feature exciting research done by the Seminary faculty and students. You are cordially invited to attend this important annual event.
