Anthony James Recital

Junior music student, Anthony Jones presents his Tenor Voice Studio Recital.

Anthony was born in St. Joseph, Michigan and grew up on the West Coast. He has enjoyed music and art from a young age and is currently pursuing them through his studies at Andrews University. He had no formal training or vocal experience before his senior year in high school, but quickly progressed during his studies under Curtis Anderson at Upper Columbia Academy. After graduation, he began attending Andrews University as a Vocal Performance major and has been there since. His solo vocal studies have been under Stephen Zork and Julia Lindsay. He has participated actively in as many choral opportunities as possible with Stephen Zork and the graduate conductors at Andrews. He has had numerous solo opportunities while at Andrews, including parts in operas, musicals, and choral programs. After he graduates, he plans on pursuing a career as a mainstream operatic tenor with plans to begin in Chicago, New York, or Germany.
