Hear how Medical Laboratory Sciences is making a difference in Haiti.
Fri, October 14, 2011 @ 06:00 pm - 08:00 pm
The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences would like to invite everyone, Andrews students, faculty, staff and the community to a very special vespers on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at 6 p.m. in the Halenz Hall Chemistry Amphitheater.
The guest speaker is Brittany Blair, MLS(ASCP), a 2010 graduate of the Andrews University Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) Program, currently serving as a missionary in the Hospital Adventiste d’Haite, Haiti.
Please join us as Ms. Blair shares her experiences, trials and victories in serving the Haitian people. The MLS department and others have been supporting her and the laboratory in Hospital Adventiste d’Haite in various ways. If you would like to personally contribute to this mission endeavor, please bring $1 toward the purchase of plastic storage boxes unavailable in Haiti and desperately needed by the laboratory.
Following the vespers, refreshments will be served. There will be an opportunity for questions and time to meet with our special guest.
