Benefit Concert

The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra will perform a Benefit Concert at the Howard Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 19, 2011, beginning at 8 p.m. All proceeds will support the upcoming orchestra tour to Costa Rica.

Conducted by Claudio Gonzalez, associate professor of music, the repertoire will include works by Puccini, Rimsky Korsakovs, Borodin, and Rosinni, and a featured performance by Julia Lindsay, assistant professor of music. A pre-concert talk will be held at 7:45 p.m. and moderated by Linda Mack, associate professor of library science. Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $5.
