The Andrews University Summit on Social Consciousness will be held on April 11–14, 2012.  The theme for this year's Summit is "Lessons from Rwanda," pointing to the lessons that can be learned from the 1994 Rwandan genocide against Tutsis. The keynote speaker is Carl Wilkens, Co-Founder of World Outside My Shoes.  Mr. Wilkens was also a former director of ADRA Rwanda, and he was the only American to choose to stay in Rwanda during the genocide.
