Free Electronics Recycling Event

Community members, businesses and residents from surrounding communities are encouraged to recycle by bringing their unwanted electronic items to an electronic recycling event hosted at Andrews University. The event will be held Wednesday, April 11 from3-7 p.m. Signage will direct traffic to the Transportation Building, located on the north side of campus.Green Earth Electronics Recycling of St. Joseph, Mich.will be operating the event. Household items will be accepted and recycled free of charge. Businesses are encouraged to learn more and preregister by emailing pickup@greenearth1.comor calling 269-326-1232.

            Accepted items include computers, laptops, monitors, TVs, telephones, cameras, DVD players, cords/cables, printers, toner cartridges, cell phones, refrigerators, air conditioners, appliances and any other electronic items or items with a cord. All hard drives are wiped to Department of Defense specifications or shredded.
