Campus Wide Tornado Drill

Campus Safety

Campus Safety be conducting a campus wide tornado drill. The drill will be signaled by the use of AU Alert (to the entire campus) and the sounding of the severe weather siren. Once notified, the campus is directed to respond to the tornado drill by taking shelter for three minutes. After three minutes has elapsed, the campus may resume regular activities. An “All Clear” message will not be sent.

Seek shelter by:

     Moving to interior hallways or small rooms on the lowest floor.

     Avoid areas with glass and wide, free span roofs (gymnasium or amphitheater).

If you notice other occupants in the building, please direct them to take shelter as well.

Remain sheltered for a total of 3 minutes and then resume regular activities.
