Easter Choral Concert

The Andrews University Department of Music will present, “Rescue the Perishing” at this year’s annual Easter Choral Concert on Saturday, March 30, at 8:30 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center. The concert will feature the vocal talents of the University Singers, University Chorale and I Cantori. This concert is free. A freewill offering will be collected.
All ensembles will be under the direction of Stephen Zork, associate professor of music, in the Department of Music. The concert’s major featured works include Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten, 23rd Psalm by Leonard Bernstein, He, Watching Over Israel by Felix Mendelssohn, and What Stood Will Stand by Paul Halley. This concert will also include traditional hymn favorites, sacred litanies and congregational singing.
