The Andrews University Alumni Association will present a Gala Concert in the Howard Performing Arts
Center. The concert will feature the Andrews University Department of Music ensembles: the Wind Symphony, directed by Alan Mitchell, the University Singers, directed by Stephen Zork, and the Sinfonietta, directed by Claudio Gonzalez. This event is part of the 2014 Alumni Homecoming Weekend.

The University Singers are performing "All the Things You Are," by Jerome Kern, arranged by Ward Swingle, "Blackbird" by Paul McCartney, as arranged for the Kings Singers, and "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" by Dolly Parton, arranged by Craig Hella Johnson.

The Sinfonietta is performing all Mozart with selections that include one his Symphony No. 27.

The Wind Symphony is performing "On this Day, Earth Shall Ring" by Holst, "Contre Qui, Rose" by Lauridsen, and "Handel in the Strand" by Grainger.

Enjoy a dessert reception at intermission.
