The 2015 Andrews Autumn Conference will take place from October 23-24 featuring keynote speaker Gregory Boyd, Senior Pastor of Woodland Hills Church and author of Is God to Blame, God at War, and Benefit of the Doubt.
Boyd will be giving a public presentation at 7:30 pm on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Pioneer Memorial Church. His topic will be "The Danger of Certainty-Seeking Faith."
The conference will continue at 9:00 am on Saturday morning, October 24 in the Biology Amphitheater. Boyd will present on "Honesty: The Foundation of Biblical Faith." Steve Harnish, Professor of Mathematics at Bluffton University will present on “Mathematical truths, doubts and (un)certainties: Dynamics of a creative relationality,” Richard Rice, Professor of Theological Studies at Loma Linda University, will present on “Trust and Doubt in the Drama of Faith,” and Carl Helrich, Emeritus Professor of Physics at Goshen College, will present on "Uncertainty." All events are free and open to the public.
Pre-conference registration is now closed for the October 24 portion of the conference. You can register on-site between 8:00 and 9:00 am on October 24 in the Biology Commons. Unfortunately, meal tickets are no longer available. However, you are welcome to join us in the cafeteria for lunch at your own expense.
