Discovering Bats

Come and be wowed by a presentation by Merlin Tuttle on “Discovering Bats,” featuring world-class photography and a lecture for general audiences. Tuttle will present on August 2, 2015, at 7 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University (the event will also be made available through livestream on the Andrews University graduation website). The event is open to the public and will be fascinating for children and adults alike.

Tuttle is an ecologist, wildlife photographer and conservationist who has studied the wonders of bats for over 55 years. An Andrews University alum, Tuttle completed his post graduate work at the University of Kansas. He is known for his scientific discoveries, media appearances, popular articles, and photographs of bats. His work has been featured in the British Museum, Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker and National Geographic. The event is sponsored by the Andrews University Office of the President and Department of Biology.
