The 60th General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church met last month in San Antonio, Texas.
The SDA church considers the general conference session its highest authority.
Approximately 2500 delegates were appointed to the session, representing the church around the world.
During the 10 days of the session, they conducted an array of business, including
electing dozens of officers and administrators,
making changes to the Church Manual,
modifying the church’s fundamental beliefs,
and deciding whether or not to permit various areas of the world
church to choose whether or not to ordain women as ministers.
The panel will provide insights into not only the decisions made but the processes that led to them.
