Steamboat Ski/Snowboard Trip

Student Activities & Involvement | Posted on August 31, 2015

As you’re planning your semester, please consider saving a credit for the FTES275: Outdoor Trip course—a ski/snowboarding trip to Steamboat Springs, CO.  This is a great way to get an activity/PE credit taken care of.  This tour takes place from 12/10-12/17, with 10 pre-tour hours during the semester.  The course fee includes travel, lodging, equipment rental, ski/snowboard clinic, lift ticket, and a few meals/group outings.  We will leave after finals on Thursday and spend four days skiing/snowboarding before returning to Andrews on the 17th.  We’re also trying to arrange for a trip to the hot springs, a worship experience with the local Adventist church, and a few meals together.  This is the kind of trip where you’ll bond with classmates and make lasting memories—and hopefully gain some serious skills on the slopes!

There are only 30 spots in the course, and they’re already filling up quickly.  We can also take a few non-credit students as well.  If you’d like to reserve a spot, please email emilyc@andrews.edu.
