Michiana Adventist Forum presents: "From ‘Ekklesia’ to Something Else:

Church Organization and How It Changes over Time," presented by Dr.

David Thomas, Dean of the School of Theology, Walla Walla University,

Sabbath Afternoon at 3:30 pm.  October 17, 2015 in Chan Shun Hall,

Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI.

 

David Thomas is currently Dean of the School of Theology and Professor

of Practical Theology & Apologetics at Walla Walla University in Walla

Walla, Washington. He has been a Mmember of the faculty since the summer

of 2001.

Prior to joining the Walla Walla faculty, Thomas spent 24 years in

pastoral work in New England and in Washington.While pastoring in the

east, he taught as an adjunct professor at Atlantic Union College for

six years.

 

A frequent speaker in churches and at seminars, Thomas’s interests are

primarily in theology, apologetics, and pastoral life and function.

An ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, he was born on

the continent of Africa of British missionary parentage and emigrated to

the United States to attend college.
