Meteorwatch: Orionid Meteor Shower

  • For your viewing comfort, bring chairs, blankets, and hot drinks.
  • Although not necessary for viewing a meteor shower, a telescope and binoculars will be available for viewing other objects in the sky. You're welcome to bring your own telescope; if you do, power will be available.
  • Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will present a lovely sight in the early morning sky—they'll be within five degrees of each other. 
  • Come for part or all of the event. 
  • Everyone is welcome.
  • Weather permitting. If weather doesn’t permit, cancellation will be announced via twitter.com/auastrowatch.
