Alumnus Named Best Architect in Chapel Hill

For the second year in a row, Chapel Hill Magazine’s readers voted Keith Shaw, AIA, principal and founder of Shaw Design Associates, Best Architect in Chapel Hill in the publication’s 2015 Best Of Chapel Hill Awards program. (issuu.com/shannonmedia/docs/chmja15, page 86)

Shaw received the top Platinum award, followed by Szostak Design (Gold), Hobbs Architects (Silver), and Dail Dixon, FAIA, (Bronze).

A graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, Keith Shaw founded his firm in 1995. Almost immediately he began working with the Governors Club, a private, gated, golf community that spreads over 1600 acres atop Edwards Mountain in Chatham County. He is a member of the Governors Club Custom Home Program, a team of professionals, including architects, builders and landscape architects, who have designed and built the vast majority of homes there for 20 years. Shaw’s firm has completed over 70 custom estate homes in Governors Club, 100 for-sale homes, and over 80 renovations.
