Attention all students! This next week as you move out, think, "Can I donate this?" before you throw things away. Andrews University Senate has partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor this year to provide trailers outside each dorm, April 26-28, where students can bring items to donate instead of throwing them away. Donations can be all sorts of things from clothing to dishes to refrigerators to microwaves, you name it. If it's something someone else can still use, bring it! Through bringing your unneeded items, you can not only help your community, but reduce waste in landfills, as well as save Andrews some money to haul all that trash away. Want to get even more involved? Service hours are available for volunteers who would like help out by manning the trailers and receiving the items.
