Andrews University’s chapter of Enactus invites the community to participate in their SuperHealth Fair on March 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ruth Murdoch Elementary School on the campus of Andrews University.

Attendees will enjoy free health screenings coordinated by the Departments of Nursing, Speech Language & Audiology and University Health & Wellness from Andrews University. Also available are free massages, cooking demonstrations and consultations with Brite Dental and Great Lakes Eye Care. Additionally, there is a raffle for Apple Valley gift cards and a Fitbit. The event is family-friendly with activities for children as well.

The SuperHealth Fair is the culmination of Enactus, a group of students who collaborate with business and educational leaders, placing action to their knowledge and executing projects that serve community needs. Sarah Henry, Enactus member, fondly remembers the opportunity that Enactus had to engage and educate first graders about health principles with the acronym CREATION.

“This January we were able to share the same CREATION principles with seventh and eighth graders, while still regularly educating the first graders,” she says. “As we close out these sessions we hope to gather the community around building lasting health practices into their everyday lives.”

This event is free and open to the public; please direct any questions to RMES at rmes@andrews.edu or 269-471-3225.
