A variety of featured works include folk hymns: &ldquo;Invocation for Compassion&rdquo; arr. by Craig Hella Johnson, &ldquo;For Everyone Born, a Place at the Table&rdquo; and &ldquo;We Shall Overcome&rdquo; both arr. by Tom Trenney; southern gospel songs &ldquo;Unclouded Day&rdquo; arr. by Shawn Kirchner, &ldquo;I Go To The Rock&rdquo; by Dottie Rambo, and &ldquo;Cornerstone&rdquo; also by Kirchner.</p> <p> The centerpiece of the concert is a set of three commanding numbers that are reassuring and buoyant in spirit: &ldquo;A Mighty Fortress Is Our God&rdquo; by Martin Luther arr. by Hans Leo Hassler, &ldquo;Nun is das Heil&rdquo; <em>Cantata No. 50 </em>by Johann Sebastian Bach, and &ldquo;Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden&rdquo; <em>Motet No. 6</em> also by J. S. Bach.</p> <p> Two guest choirs will be featured: Journey, directed by Marguerite Samuel, and Girls of Mercy, directed by Josephine and Sinegugu Katenga. Both choirs are known for their philanthropic mission. The program concludes with two final compositions: &ldquo;If Ye Love Me, Love One Another&rdquo; by Philip Stopford, and the majestic setting of &ldquo;How Great Thou Art&rdquo; by Dan Forrest.</p> <p> Admission is free &ndash; no tickets required.
