The program will consist of various classical and instrumental pieces, including &ldquo;Italian Concerto, BWV. 971 (14&rsquo;)&rdquo; by J. S. Bach, &ldquo;Michelangelo 70 (2.5&rsquo;)&rdquo; by Astor Piazzolla and compositions from David Maslanka.</p> <p> Founded in 2015, the Fuego Quartet is an award-winning chamber group devoted to the performance of both standard and contemporary works written for the saxophone. Most recently, they were awarded the Gold Medal of the 2017 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition; first place in Brass, Winds and Percussion at the Plowman Chamber Music Competition; and second place in the 2017 National MTNA Chamber Music Competition.</p> <p> The Fuego Quartet is comprised of Nicki Roman, Erik Elmgren, Harrison Clarke and Gabriel Pique. They are graduate students from the Eastman School of Music, and their quartet has been featured in various settings from standard concert hall venues to community outreach concerts. They have performed as featured artists at various places including the Strong National Museum of Play, Dorris Carlson Reading Garden, Phillis Wheatley Library, Susan B. Anthony Museum and the Washington Square Concert Series.</p> <p> Tickets for this event can be purchased at and are $12 for General Seating and $5 for students and senior citizens.
