The Champaign Seventh-day Adventist Church is located in Champaign-Urbana which is home to the largest University in the state of Illinois. We have tremendous untapped potential to reach the students on this secular campus. We are going through a transitional period as we seek to be the church Christ has called us to be. We believe this happens through a relevant and vibrant weekly worship experience, through honest conversations, genuine relationships and through ongoing community presence. As we move in this direction we are searching for an individual who desires to share and build this vision with us. We believe music is a powerful language that speaks to people of all ages and we'd love to have you lead us in bringing hope to our community through music ministry.

The right candidate will:

Be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing.

Be enthusiastic about working with youth and young adults.

Be innovative and comfortable ministering to both religious and secular groups.

Possess the ability to lead a worship team in organizing, rehearsing and conducting a vibrant, weekly worship experience.

Orchestrate community music events and engage in various creative music ministry projects.

Work directly with the Pastor and Local Church Board to provide an active public campus ministry.
