Honorable Treasures Benefit Concert Report

The Watchmen have provided the following report of their October 2017 Honorable Treasures benefit concert.

On October 27, 2017, at the Howard Performing Arts Center, the Watchmen, with the support of various groups and performing artists, hosted a concert to aid Emergency Shelter Services in Benton Harbor, Michigan. It was an esteemed honor for us (Watchmen) to apply ourselves and gifts to the benefit of those in need. It was our commitment not just to the managers and residents of the homeless shelter but also to the Andrews University family, who joined with us in this life-changing experience.

At the close of the event we announced a total raised of $870.20, but thanks be to God, with later donations and contributions, the new and final tallied total is $1,000.00. It is indeed with a deep sense of appreciation that we recognize all those who, by the grace of God, made this dream both for us and the residents of the facility a possibility.

We have since met with the shelter representatives to finalize the project. The Lord began this good work, and we are thrilled to see how He has led and is perfectly finishing it. There are quite a number of directives that have been decided upon to channel the acquired funds to. A date will soon be confirmed when we will be officially finalizing the Honorable Treasures project.

Many thanks to those who greatly supported the benefit concert: Benton Harbor municipality, Andrews University community, the various artists who participated in the concert, a wonderful audience that enthusiastically attended the concert, and many more. This concert was just but a glimpse of greater things that God is willing to do with us all, hence we look forward to many more occasions to impact the world for Jesus.

Above all, we say Hosanna to the Highest! Let us all continue to be Watchmen for God's kingdom, bringing an urgent message to this cold world—for Jesus is indeed coming soon.
