Career fair encourages students to fly high

The municipal airport of La Porte hosted a career fair for high school students on Tuesday.

Diane Schwarz, manager of planning and operations brought 11 aviation vendors including Arconic, Air Traffic Control, Indiana Department of Transportation, Woolpert, Region Flyers, Western Michigan University, Andrews University, School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT), Purdue, Civil Air Patrol and Indiana Dunes 99's.
