Graduation Traffic Pattern Change

Campus Safety | Posted on July 31, 2019

As part of the Commencement services at the Howard Performing Arts Center, there will be a temporary change in the traffic pattern on East Campus Circle Drive on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019. This temporary change will allow the graduates to safely continue the University tradition of marching into the Flag Mall as part of the recessional, which will start at the Howard Performing Arts Center.

For each service’s recessional, the road will be closed at the crosswalk located between the Howard Performing Arts Center and Chan Shun Hall. The road will only be closed until the recessional is complete.

Vehicles parked in the Seminary parking lot (Lot 2) will be able to exit campus through the traffic circle to J.N. Andrews Blvd.

Vehicles parked in the Chan Shun Hall parking lot (Lot 3) or the Howard Performing Arts Center parking lot (Lot 4) will be able to exit campus through the three-way interaction at East Campus Circle Drive and International Court.
