Beyond Bars Volunteer Training Session

The Department of Music has initiated a prison ministry music educational program called "Beyond Bars." Last year approximately 20 Andrews University student and faculty volunteers visited Westville Correctional Facility each week. If you would like to participate this year, please note the following information.

Ministry: Beyond Bars

When: Every Saturday, 2–5 p.m. Volunteers can choose to attend two, four or six Saturdays per semester. Transportation is provided.

Requirements: Passion for music and love for people—if you sing or play an instrument, even better!

Training Session: Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, from 1:30–3 p.m. in Hamel Hall, Choir Room. Volunteers must attend the training session to participate in Beyond Bars.
