Andrews University Zoom Backgrounds

As we continue to learn, teach and work remotely, we want to take every opportunity to showcase Andrews University—even in our Zoom meetings!

We have developed Andrews University Zoom backgrounds utilizing images and colors that identify our affiliation with Andrews while enhancing the professionalism of our Zoom appointments.

These Zoom backgrounds are available for download here.

To utilize the backgrounds in Zoom, open the Zoom application.

For Mac:

• Select “zoom.us” in the menu bar, then click on “Preferences.”
• Click on “Virtual Background,” then select the “+” icon and click “Add Image.”
• Choose the photo you would like to use and click “Open.”
  • You may be asked to download the “smart virtual background package”—this is a one-time download.
• Please note that if the image displays backwards, you can deselect the “Mirror my video” box at the bottom of the Settings window.
• When you are using Zoom for non-Andrews calls, please change your Virtual Background selection to “None” and reselect the “Mirror my video” box.

For PC:

• Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Zoom window, just below the Search box, to open the Settings window.
• Click on “Virtual Background,” then select the “+” icon and click “Add Image.”
• Choose the photo you would like to use and click “Open.”
  • You may be asked to download the “smart virtual background package”—this is a one-time download.
• Please note that if the image displays backwards, you can deselect the “Mirror my video” box at the bottom of the Settings window.
