Dan Drazen to Retire on June 30

| Posted on June 11, 2020
Dan Drazen, long-time editor of the Seventh-day Adventist Periodical Index, will be retiring June 30, 2020. Daniel was born in Michigan and attended Andrews University, graduating in the early 1970s. He also earned a Library and Information Science degree from Rosary College near Chicago. He worked in the Chicago area until returning to Andrews University in 1992 as the editor of the Seventh-day Adventist Periodical Index.

The Index is a valuable resource for scholarship utilizing Adventist published periodicals. Dan has served faithfully and consistently in this role for 28 years. Over this time, he has likely created well over 300,000 index citations. Scholars in Adventist topics owe Dan a big thank you for making their work easier.

A Google folder has been created as a place for you to share your memories, images and appreciation for Dan's service. Please use this link to upload a message of congratulation and appreciation as soon as possible so a digital memory book can be prepared and presented to Dan at the September event.
