Abstract:
Climate change influences human health and disease in numerous ways. Some existing health threats will intensify and new health issues will emerge. Not everyone is equally at risk. The health effects of disruptions in our environment include increased respiratory and cardiovascular disease, changes in the geographical distribution of water-borne illnesses, and other threats. Join us to learn how human activity is causing these new challenges and what is being done to protect the Earth and our health.
