Employees: Ellucian Strategic Planning Survey

Good morning, colleagues,

Next month, representatives from Ellucian will engage with us in a Strategic Alignment Planning process. Ellucian is our technology partner and provides Banner and other related institutional technology to Andrews University.

During this engagement, our Ellucian strategic business advisor will meet with representatives from offices across campus to discuss current business processes and learn how we utilize technology to support these processes and our students. The outcome of this effort will be an alignment plan to help identify opportunities to optimize our use of technology to support institutional priorities.

As the executive sponsor of this process, I expect measurable results from this effort and want to emphasize the importance of your participation.

I ask that you please complete this confidential online survey, which should take approximately 10 minutes. Please be candid in your responses as your feedback will help identify opportunities to extend and improve our administrative technology resources.

I would appreciate if you would complete the survey as soon as possible but no later than Thursday, Jan. 6.

Survey data will be compiled and used by the Ellucian team to facilitate further discussion during the discovery conversations scheduled to take place on Jan. 18 and 19.

The Ellucian team will utilize the survey data and information gathered during the discovery conversations to generate a report that includes findings, impacts and recommendations. The report will be presented to the executive team, who will then work with Ellucian to rank and prioritize each initiative based on productivity gains and strategic benefits. The process aims to help us better achieve institutional goals and objectives by aligning technology and best practices with the institution’s strategic vision, maximizing utilization of current technology systems and modernizing processes and business methodologies.
