The awards for the 2023 Andrews University Pitch Competition were determined during the finals event at the Howard Performing Arts Center on March 31. The award recipients are shown below.

Innovation Week Video Contest

  • $1,000 for best video promoting Innovation Week by a student club
  • Award comes from Andrews Innovation
     

Social Innovation Award

  • Two $5,000 seed matching grants for social innovation projects in Berrien County
  • Grants through the School of Leadership, MA Leadership in Social Innovation
  • The grants will be allocated to projects in Berrien County communities that meet one of the category requirements below:
    • Social Entrepreneurship—to explore business opportunities that positively impact the communities in Berrien County.
    • Social Advocacy—seeks to ensure that all people in the communities can have their voices heard. 
    • Social Services—individual and community development and transformative changes in physical, mental and social needs.
  • The grant must be enhanced by matching funds and gifts-in-kind from other sources.
