2024 Andrews University Pitch Competition

Exciting event will award funds to students for startup or project launch!

Andrews University will host its third, annual, campus-wide Pitch Competition as part of Innovation Week. The Finals, which will feature the top seven teams, will take place on April 5 from 2–4 p.m. This event will be hosted at the Howard Performing Arts Center, and it's free to attend an open to the public. An awards ceremony and a reception at 4 p.m. will immediately follow the competition. We invite our entire campus and regional community to attend and support our student entrepreneurs.

Awards

• A People's Choice Award of $1,000 in cash will be chosen by the audience through live voting at the event. The participating team with the most votes will receive $1,000 in cash for their business or project launch.
• Other in-kind and cash awards will be given based on the scores by the judges during the final round.
• A total amount of about $60,000 of both in-kind and cash awards will be distributed as following:
  • $30,000 in cash
  • $10,000 as part of the Social Innovation Grant
  • $20,000 in-kind awards from our sponsors and Andrews Innovation, including 12 months of Business Coaching for the top 7 teams.
