Gary Wayne Burdick is professor of physics and dean of research at Andrews University. Born and raised in St. Joseph, Michigan, Gary has a passion for scientific discovery. That passion is evidenced in his classroom, his labs and his work to support research on our campus. Gary has done more than anyone to infuse research and creative scholarship into the fabric of Andrews. Our students, our faculty and staff, and our University are all better off because of Gary’s influence and support.

He has also promoted faculty-student mentorships, igniting a passion for scientific discovery. Thank you, Gary, for engineering a culture of research at our beloved university. He is our ambassador.
