Carmelita Troy has demonstrated unparalleled dedication and exceptional leadership in her roles as program coordinator and chair of the Department of Accounting, Economics & Finance in the School of Business Administration. Her visionary approach to leading the department has not only fostered an environment of collaboration but has also significantly contributed to the advancement of our academic programs.

One of Carmelita's most remarkable strengths lies in her ability to engage students in the classroom. She employs innovative teaching methods, creating an interactive and stimulating learning environment. Her passion for accounting is infectious, captivating students' interest and encouraging active participation. Her dedication to fostering critical thinking and intellectual curiosity among students is truly inspiring.

Her mentorship also extends beyond the classroom, as she consistently seeks opportunities to integrate real-world applications and promote a holistic learning experience for students. She was instrumental in establishing the Crowe internship program that happens on our campus.
