Physics Enterprises is Moving
Big changes are underway at Physics Enterprises. On February 1, the Department of Physics Enterprises officially closed and is moving its operations to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship under the leadership of Dr. Matias Soto. Newly appointed student managers will oversee daily operations, and the Andrews Service Corporation will manage finances. Michael Bryson, current director of Physics Enterprises, has been carefully planning and supervising this transition, and will hand over leadership to Dr. Soto and his team.
Physics Enterprises, founded in 1977 by Physics Professor Bruce Lee, has served the Andrews campus and the global educational community for nearly 50 years with products such as the Wave Motion Demonstrator and Diffusion Cloud Chamber. Under Innovation, it will continue to provide elementary, secondary, and college teachers with high quality equipment at economically accessible prices, while continuing to financially and otherwise support Andrews University and its mission.
For more information, contact the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Matias Soto (smatias@andrews.edu), Director of Physics Enterprises, Michael Bryson (bryson@andrews.edu), or Physics Enterprises Board Chair, Margarita Mattingly (mattingl@andrews.edu).
