25 Years of Service: Joseph Kidder
Professor of Pastoral Theology & Discipleship, Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary
It is truly my pleasure and honor to offer words of congratulations and blessing to my dear friend and colleague, Joe Kidder.
Over the years, I have witnessed firsthand how Joe has dedicated his life to the personal and professional growth of his students here at the Seminary. Time and again, I have heard him speak of his students with genuine love and deep care, faithfully imparting wisdom, guidance and mentorship. His investment in the next generation of pastors and leaders is not merely professional—it is deeply pastoral and profoundly relational.
On a very personal level, Joe has been an extraordinary blessing to me. I am deeply grateful for the many conversations we have shared—the moments of counsel and encouragement, the afternoon walks, and the heartfelt prayers lifted on behalf of me, my family and my ministry. His friendship has been steady, sincere and life-giving.
Joe has been—and continues to be—a remarkable source of friendship, strength and support. For this, and for the countless lives he has shaped, we honor him with gratitude and joy.
Dear Joe, congratulations and God's blessings to you as we celebrate your 25 years with the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University.
