30 Years of Service: Anna Piskozub
Operations and Program Coordinator, Global Leadership Institute
After working in downtown Chicago for several law firms, Anna Piskozub began her Andrews University journey on May 30, 1995, in the School of Education. She started as executive secretary for Graduate Programs and discovered a passion for supporting graduate education.
While working, Anna also pursued her own education, earning a business administration degree in 2009 and a master's degree in nutrition and wellness in 2013. Her career evolved through roles of increasing responsibility—graduate services coordinator and accreditation, assessment, and graduate records officer—where she built systems to support student success and the comprehensive CAEP accreditation.
In May 2024, Anna transitioned to the Global Leadership Institute as operations and program coordinator. There, she combined her professional expertise with her deep Seventh-day Adventist faith in a mission-centered environment that developed church leaders around the globe.
Anna has led early-morning fitness classes since 2000, first in Lamson Health Club and later in the Andreasen Center for Wellness. For the last eight years, she has also taught college students … who are often bewildered at how this seasoned professional has an energy and stamina they can't match.
Anna reflects gratefully on her time at Andrews University as more than a workplace—it's been a community, ministry and home.
