30 Years of Service: Rhonda Peak

When asked whether she had been doing the same job for the past 30 years, Rhonda answered with both precision and quiet pride. She began as an accounts manager, serving Ruth Murdoch Elementary School and Andrews Academy. Over time, her work expanded to include broader institutional responsibilities, along with firm accounts, the Child Care Center and housing-related needs.
So yes—30 years. But never just one role.
When asked what inspires her to continue, Rhonda simply said, “The surprises.” She went on to share, “I love talking to people. … I pray for former students and families. I get to see God work through simple conversations—often through tears, often through prayer—until something changes.”
“Nothing about what I do is easy,” she said. Yet for 30 years, Rhonda has shown that compassion and accountability can walk hand in hand.
That is the work she has done. That is the calling she has lived. And that is why we honor Rhonda for 30 years of service.
