Tambunan Networking Event

The Career Center and the Undergraduate Leadership Program (ULEAD) invites students to participate in the Tambunan Networking Event during the 2026 Alumni Weekend. The event provides a unique opportunity for students to develop one of the most valuable professional skills you can have: networking.
Participants will connect with Andrews University alumni and professionals who are eager to meet students, share career advice, and help you build confidence in professional conversations.
Event Schedule
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. – Networking Workshop facilitated by Dr. Sung K. Kwon, Associate Professor of Leadership, Andrews University
Learn practical networking strategies, how to confidently introduce yourself, start meaningful conversations, and make lasting professional connections.
12:30 – 1:00 p.m. – Networking Reception
Put your new skills into practice as you mingle with alumni and professionals with a beverage.
1:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Speed Networking
Participate in a series of brief conversations with alumni and professionals to practice sharing your story, discussing your interests, and expanding your network while having hor d'oeuvres.
1:30 – 2:00 p.m. – Professional Feedback Session
Receive constructive feedback from alumni on your communication and networking skills to help you continue growing professionally.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain confidence, expand your professional network, and learn from individuals who were once in your shoes and are now making an impact on their careers.
